ABOUT US

Matteo Giovanardi
Matteo Giovanardi inherits from his family—whose roots in Bologna date back to the mid-18th century—a strong local tradition and a deep sense of connection to the city.
After earning his diploma in accounting, he began his career at his father’s business, eventually becoming the manager after years of hands-on experience. Active within Italy’s household goods industry, he developed close professional relationships with well-known brands such as Guzzini, Bormioli, Lagostina, and Alessi.
When the company closed in the late 1990s, Matteo pursued a variety of professional experiences that helped him build valuable networks and collaborations. Over time, he began to focus on developing commercial networks and financial operations, including acquisitions and generational transitions.
Later, as a project finance manager, he worked with a major banking group and several prominent firms and entrepreneurs.
Following the birth of his daughter, Matteo decided to dedicate himself to the enhancement of historic buildings and the organization of cultural events. After spending a period of his life living in the tower with his young son, he now resides in the Bolognese hills, where he actively promotes the preservation, appreciation, and cultural rediscovery of the area through a dedicated committee.
